After graduating in 2011 with honors and receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, he completed a one-year fellowship as an instructor in the Department of Endodontics at UT. Upon completing his endodontic residency, he received his Master of Dental Science degree and his Endodontic Specialty Certificate.
